The RPM Rear Bumper Mount for the Traxxas XRT adds durability by replacing a commonly broken
stock part. How did RPM make it stronger? They started by increasing the height of the mount significantly.

RPM bumped it all the way up to 3⁄4” (19mm)! RPM then increased the thickness to 0.2” (5.08mm). The final
strength improvement comes in the form of a triple loop design. Each side has three curves. Two small
and one large. The large curve absorbs smaller impacts while the smaller curves compress once the larger
curve can’t compress any further. This gives three zones of compression per side for the utmost impact
resistance.

Interestingly, RPM's unique blend of engineering grade nylons have a characteristic known as memory. Once
impact energy has been absorbed, its memory returns the Rear Bumper Mount back to its original shape.The transition back to shape happens almost instantaneously once the impact force is eliminated. What
does that mean? It means you regain impact resistance rapidly after the first hit. That translates into
improved protection of your truck in severe crashes where multiple impacts occur in succession (cartwheels).
