ers the transmission better, so I ground down the alignment tabs on the RPM center skid plate to allow it to sit flush on top of my stock center skid plate. Grinding the tabs down also allowed the RPM center skid to sit flush with the rear RPM skid plate allowing me to keep my stock center skid plate on and still use the RPM center skid plate over it.
The reason you want your center skid plate flush with the rear skid plate is because you don't want your rear skid plate hooking on the ground and sometimes flipping your truck after a good jump. Read Less
