This is the Traxxas Overdrive Gear Set
The overdrive gear set for X-Maxx and XRT replaces the standard transmission gears with a 24-tooth input gear and 47-tooth output gear. The overdrive gear set increases the upper range of gearing options beyond standard high-speed gears for aftermarket low kV motors. This gear set makes a significant change to the final drive ratio, effectively adding 5-6 teeth to the pinion gear.
